COARSE FISHING
In the days when Mr Barclay used to encourage his staff
to take part in inter-
the Luton District Angling Team became quite successful.
They won the Bank National event, and several of its members represented the Bank team nationally.
Old habits die hard, and in retirement there are still those
who are interested getting their tackle out from time to time.
Now performing as
The Ancient Coarse Fishermen of Barclays Luton
they are happy to get together to remember their exploits
and try to catch something better than “the one that got away”.
Details of their gatherings are advertised
on the Diary Dates page, as they occur and,
if you’re a fisherman too, you’re welcome to join them.
